Electronic Prescription Service
If you get regular prescriptions the NHS Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) can save you time by getting rid you unnecessary trips to your GP or pharmacy.
EPS makes it possible for your prescriptions to be sent electronically to our pharmacy from your GP.
This means, you will no longer have to collect a paper repeat prescription from your GP practice and instead you can go straight to the pharmacy to pick up your medicines. Please remember the surgery usually needs 48 hours to process your request and we will normally have the prescription ready within 24 hours of receipt from the surgery.
You are able to order or cancel your repeat prescriptions online with your GP practice:
Concord: Patient Access
Coniston: Patient Access
Bradley Stoke: Online Prescription Form
Stoke Gifford: Patient Access
Northville: Patient Access
If you have ordered online with the surgery please let us know here and we can make sure the prescription is ready when you come to collect it.

How can I start using EPS?
You don’t need a computer to use EPS. You can use the Electronic Prescription Service as long as both your GP surgery offers the service.
How can I cancel the service?
You can always change or cancel your pharmacy nomination. Simply speak to your General Practice prescribing team or a member of the dispensing team before you order your next prescription. Allow time for the update to take place, to avoid your next prescription being sent to the wrong place.
Who can see my prescription?
EPS is reliable, secure and confidential. Your electronic prescription will be seen by the same people in GP practices, pharmacies and NHS prescription payment and fraud agencies that see your paper prescription now. Having direct computer links between the prescribing doctor and pharmacy robots like ours has been shown not only to speed the provision of medication but to substantially reduce the risk of dispensing errors.
They will also be able to see whether you’ve nominated more than one dispenser and can check where your prescriptions will be sent to.
If you are on repeat prescriptions, dispensers will also see all of the items on your reorder slip.
Benefits to You!
You will not have to spend your time going to your GP practice each time to pick up your paper prescription. Instead your GP will send it automatically to the pharmacy, with less chance of it getting lost.
Fewer opportunities for human error and safer more accurate dispensing.
You should not have to wait as long for your prescription items, as often there will be time to get your repeat prescription items ready before you arrive. If any of the medicines on your prescription are out of stock when we receives your prescription, we will ordered in and get it ready for you
